The Hallel V'Zimra Jewish Liturgical Music Conference to be held at the University of Chicago, will bring together leading scholars, prayer leaders, and musicians to explore and reflect upon the rich and complex Jewish conversation among music, liturgy, and ritual.
The conference will have a mix of panel discussions, workshops, master classes, and other sessions intended to appeal both to professionals in the field and to interested non-professionals. Conference times: Sunday, March 10, from 10 am to 5 pm (at Swift Hall on campus) and Monday, March 11, from 9 am to 4 pm (at Rodfei Zedek). Kosher box lunches will be provided on both days.
