Join us for a discussion of Joy Ladin's memoir,
Through the Door of Life: A Jewish Journey Between Genders,
on Sunday, November 11, at 10 am in the Glick Chapel. The book is a short, accessible, and compelling account of the humor and heartache of a life in transition by poet and literary critic Joy Ladin, the David and Ruth Gottesman Chair in English at Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University, who is also the first openly transgender professor at an Orthodox Jewish institution.
Copies of the book are available at the Seminary Co-op Bookstore and 57th Street Books.
