Primary Election

If you live in the City of Chicago, you can check your voter status or find out complete details about the primary election from the Chicago Board of Election Commmissioners.  If you live in suburban Cook county, use the Cook County Clerk's website.

voting at CRZCRZ serves as a polling place for a couple of wards in the neighborhood for every national, state, and local election.  The polling place is set up in the Atrium.  The east doors to the building will be open, and that is how many people will enter.  The south entrance is our officially Accessible entrance, so it is used, too.

There are conditions that govern activities in and near a polling place, most particularly with respect to campaigning activities.  Judges have the right to refuse entrance to anyone who is wearing clothing or accessories that appear to be electioneering in purpose; e.g, campaign buttons, tee‑shirts, hats, etc.  Please notify people in your program of this condition.

The Congregation asks that students making their way around the building, and especially through the Atrium, be requested to be orderly and quiet in order to maintain a respectful environment for the voters.

Finally, the Congregation asks that anyone who typically parks on the north side of the parking lot close to the entrance not park in the first four spaces (beginning at the east end of the lot) and the Handicap space so that there is parking available close to the entrance for older and mobility-impaired voters.

Let Sherry Gutman know if you have questions.  Thank you in advance for your support of this activity.
