Yom Yerushalayim

Jerusalem Day (יום ירושלים‎) marks the 1967 reunification of Jerusalem and The Temple Mount under Jewish rule during the Six-Day War almost 1900 years after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.

Sunday, May 13, 2018

From Psalm 137, usually said under the Chuppah right before the groom breaks the glass:

אם אשכחך ירושלים, תישכח ימיני, תדבק לשוני לחיקי, אם לא אזכרך

Im eshkachech Yerushalaim tishkach yemini, tidabek l'shoni lechiki im lo ezkerechi.

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her skill.  Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I remember thee not.
