COHEN INSTITUTE FOR THE VISUALLY HANDICAPPED
We invite you to join our weekly group, which meets every Tuesday at CRZ from 9:30 a.m. until early afternoon. We are a very congenial and dedicated group.
For the benefit of partially-sighted persons, we transcribe books by typing on computers. The information is then printed in a large, bold font to make a large-print book. For the benefit of blind persons, Braille books are transcribed using Perkins Brailler machines. Proofreaders are needed for the large-print books. All books are done at the request of JBI International (formerly the Jewish Braille Institute) in New York.
Come, meet us, and see what we are about. If you are not available on Tuesdays, all procedures can be done at home. Contributions are gratefully accepted—and needed—in order to continue this important work.
